Measurement of the K+→μ+νμγK^+\rightarrow{\mu^+}{\nu_{\mu}}{\gamma} decay form factors in the OKA experiment

A precise measurement of the vector and axial-vector form factors difference FV−FAF_V-F_A in the K+→μ+νμγK^+\rightarrow{\mu^+}{\nu_{\mu}}{\gamma} decay is presented. About 95K events of K+→μ+νμγK^+\rightarrow{\mu^+}{\nu_{\mu}}{\gamma} are selected in the OKA experiment. The result is FV−FA=0.134±0.021(stat)±0.027(syst)F_V-F_A=0.134\pm0.021(stat)\pm0.027(syst). Both errors are smaller than in the previous FV−FAF_V-F_A measurements.Comment: 9 pages, 8 figure

Searches for the light invisible axion-like particle in K+→π+π0aK^{+}\to\pi^{+}\pi^{0}a decay

A high statistics data sample of the K+K^{+} decays is recorded by the OKA collaboration. A missing mass analysis is performed to search for a light invisible pseudoscalar axion-like particle (ALP) aa in the decay K+→π+π0aK^{+} \to \pi^{+} \pi^{0} a. No signal is observed, the upper limits for the branching ratio of the decay are calculated. The 90%90\% confidence level upper limit is changing from 2.5⋅10−62.5\cdot10^{-6} to 2⋅10−72\cdot10^{-7} for the ALP mass from 0 to 200 MeV/c2c^{2}, except for the region of π0\pi^{0} mass, where the upper limit is 4.4⋅10−64.4\cdot10^{-6}.Comment: 6 pages, 6 figure

    Observation of K+→π+π0π0γK^{+} \to \pi^{+}\pi^{0}\pi^{0}\gamma decay

The K+→π+π0π0γK^{+} \to \pi^{+}\pi^{0}\pi^{0}\gamma decay is observed by the OKA collaboration. The branching ratio is measured to be (4.1±0.9(stat)±0.4(syst))×10−6(4.1 \pm 0.9(stat) \pm 0.4(syst))\times 10^{-6}. The branching ratio and γ\gamma energy spectrum are consistent with ChPT prediction.Comment: arXiv admin note: text overlap with arXiv:2310.1642

Study of the decay K+→π+π−π+γK^{+}\to\pi^{+}\pi^{-}\pi^{+}\gamma in the OKA experiment

A high statistics data sample of the decays of K+K^+ mesons to three charged particles was accumulated by the OKA experiment in 2012 and 2013. This allowed to select a clean sample of about 450 events with K+→π+π−π+γK^{+}\to\pi^{+}\pi^{-}\pi^{+}\gamma decays with the energy of the photon in the kaon rest frame greater than 30 MeV. The measured branching fraction of the K+→π+π−π+γK^{+}\to\pi^{+}\pi^{-}\pi^{+}\gamma, with Eγ∗E_{\gamma}^{*} > 30 MeV is (0.71±0.05)×10−5(0.71 \pm 0.05) \times 10^{-5}. The measured energy spectrum of the decay photon is compared with the prediction of the chiral perturbation theory to O(p4)(p^{4}). A search for an up-down asymmetry of the photon with respect to the hadronic system decay plane is also performed.Comment: 9 pages, 7 figures, 1 tabl

Determination of ππ\pi\pi scattering lengths from measurement of π+π−\pi^+\pi^- atom lifetime

    Get PDF
The DIRAC experiment at CERN has achieved a sizeable production of π+π−\pi^+\pi^- atoms and has significantly improved the precision on its lifetime determination. From a sample of 21227 atomic pairs, a 4% measurement of the S-wave ππ\pi\pi scattering length difference ∣a0−a2∣=(.0.2533−0.0078+0.0080∣stat.−0.0073+0.0078∣syst)Mπ+−1|a_0-a_2| = (.0.2533^{+0.0080}_{-0.0078}|_\mathrm{stat}.{}^{+0.0078}_{-0.0073}|_\mathrm{syst})M_{\pi^+}^{-1} has been attained, providing an important test of Chiral Perturbation Theory.Comment: 6 pages, 6 figure
